I started sewing about 10 years ago, beginning with quilts and clothes for my kids and myself. During the pandemic, an American Girl © catalog showed up at our house and my kids went crazy over it. I remembered that I had had a cherished Molly doll and knew she must be in a box somewhere. She'd had a run-in with our family dog all those years ago and was in need of repair. I decided to repair her myself, instead of sending her to the doll hospital and suddenly repairing second-hand dolls became my Pandemic Hobby. All those dolls needed clothes and soon we had more clothes than even my kids knew what to do with. So Sarah Sews Things was born!

Along with my Etsy shop, I am a regular seller at Art in the Park in Fredericksburg, Virginia! You can find me in Hurkamp Park on the first Saturday of every month during market season, from May through October! Browse my latest creations and buy some items that never make it to my Etsy shop!
